New Vacancy: Front-End-Developer


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Front-End-Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating and delivering frontend development for our client’s ecommerce websites, from full migrations and builds for new clients, to helping to optimise and advance existing client stores. You’ll be a natural problem solver who loves to build engaging and innovative online experiences in a fast paced environment!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for bringing design concepts to life - building new websites across multiple devices to the highest quality standards
  • Work with Designers to ensure the technical feasibility of initial design concepts
  • Work with Backend Developers to ensure the successful implementation of project deliverables
  • Responsible for optimising web pages for maximum speed and scalability
  • Support all teams during website launch and provide post live frontend support where required
  • Provide accurate estimates for completion of assigned development activities and alert the Project Manager in good time of any risks to agreed deadlines
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Implement frontend change requests to existing live client websites as part of ongoing support
  • Responsible for carrying out testing of own work before handing over to the client for user acceptance testing


Personal spec

  • Knowledge and experience in CSS/SCSS, HTML and TWIG is paramount
  • TailwindCSS knowledge (desirable)
  • Experience with using build tools to compile assets (NPM / Laravel mix)
  • Experience in optimising web pages, i.e improving Lighthouse performance, best practice and accessibility scores
  • Vue.js / JavaScript knowledge (desirable)
  • Experience of developing using a local environment (Valet, Docker)
  • GitHub experience
  • Ability to manage own time and work to deadlines
  • Good communication skills, confident with both internal and external communication
  • Experience of working in the ecommerce industry, preferably to a high level
  • A team player who can embrace challenge and grow in a fast paced environment
