Techquity is a UK-based ecommerce and software agency specialising in building tailored digital solutions that help businesses grow revenue, streamline operations, and improve profitability.
We work with ambitious retailers and businesses who have outgrown off-the-shelf platforms and want technology that fits the way they operate, not the other way around. Our work spans bespoke software, performance-led ecommerce, and long-term support partnerships, all delivered by a senior, hands-on team.

Techquity originally started as a consultancy, acting as a technology partner for early-stage businesses. The original model focused on helping startups design and build their technology in return for equity, aligning everyone around long-term growth rather than short-term delivery. That approach worked well and helped a number of businesses scale.
Over time, ecommerce became the dominant focus. With deep roots in the industry through the founding and scaling of Visualsoft, and later the creation of the Aero Commerce platform, it became clear there was a growing gap in the market. Retailers and agencies were increasingly constrained by inflexible, bloated platforms that limited performance, flexibility, and long-term scalability.
Techquity evolved to focus fully on ecommerce and bespoke software, bringing together platform expertise, agency delivery, and commercial strategy. Today, we help businesses build technology that supports growth, reduces operational friction, and adapts as their needs change.

Our 4,000 sq ft office in Middlesbrough was purpose-designed to support collaboration, focus, and growth. It gives our team the space to work together effectively, share ideas, and build strong relationships, both internally and with clients who visit us.
While we support flexible and hybrid working, having a dedicated physical space allows us to maintain a strong culture, mentor junior team members, and tackle complex problems together.
