// Chief Operating Officer

Callum Bendelow

Callum joined Techquity straight out of university, bringing together a background in design with a strong interest in development. Starting as a UX designer and developer, he went on to design and build some of the first stores on the Aero platform, helping shape how the platform was used in live ecommerce projects.

Now Chief Operating Officer, Callum oversees delivery and operations across the business, working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are efficient, scalable, and commercially sound. His focus is on combining design, technology, and strategy to deliver digital solutions that drive long-term growth.

// What’s your favourite part of working here?

There are two things that really stand out for me. The first is the clients. I love working directly with business owners, understanding how their businesses operate, spotting opportunities, and helping turn those insights into measurable improvements. Seeing the impact of our work on revenue, conversion, and efficiency is incredibly rewarding.

The second is the team. Creating an environment where people feel supported, trusted, and able to do their best work is something I care deeply about. When the team is happy and confident, the results for clients naturally follow.

// What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Football is a big part of my life. I follow Middlesbrough and play five-a-side every week. I’m also really into running and enjoy setting personal goals around fitness.

Outside of sport, I enjoy travelling, spending time with my wife and 2 children, and unwinding with video games. Fallout and Stardew Valley are long-standing favourites.

// What’s the most exciting project you’ve worked on recently?

Rather than a single client project, one of the most exciting areas I’ve worked on recently has been improving client happiness across the business. It’s something I’m genuinely passionate about.

Refining how we package our services, improving workflows, and designing clearer internal processes has helped us deliver a more consistent and thoughtful experience for our clients. Seeing that translate into stronger relationships and long-term partnerships has been incredibly rewarding.

This website has also been a standout project for me. It gave us the chance to properly showcase the work we’ve delivered, the clients we work with, and the people behind it all. Being able to tell those stories in a way that reflects the quality of our work has been hugely satisfying.

// Favourite tech or tool?

Tailwind, without question. When it first appeared in 2017, it completely changed how we approached front-end development. Before that, we were limited by frameworks like Bootstrap.

We adopted Tailwind early, even during its beta phase, and grew alongside it. Over time, we’ve shaped it into one of the most powerful and flexible tools we use day to day, and it’s played a big role in how we deliver fast, consistent, high-quality interfaces.

// Why should clients choose Techquity?

Because we genuinely care about long-term outcomes, not just launches. We don’t build something and walk away. We support, optimise, and evolve platforms so they continue to deliver value month after month.

Clients choose Techquity because they know we’ll challenge ideas when needed, focus on what actually moves the needle, and remain invested in their success well beyond day one.
